the country butcher fine foods gourmet food market

Country Butcher: Celebrating over 30 Years of Good Taste.
A family-owned fine foods market! We support local farms and businesses
In the beginning, high school sweethearts Dan and Dorothy, married and five weeks later, on April 8, 1982, opened Country Butcher, founded on the principle of providing customers with the finest quality meats: fresh cuts locally raised, grass-fed, dry aged USDA Prime meats. Everyone said they wouldn't last because they were not selling pre-packaged meat.

Originally a small high-quality butcher shop, Country Butcher has transformed into a unique top-notch gourmet market to meet the growing demands of their customers. Country Butcher is now a popular breakfast and lunch destination. Stop in the unique open kitchen where you will see their chefs preparing gourmet foods to go, a full-deli with café seating and a bakery with in-house pastry chefs.

We look forward to the future in serving our many loyal customers.

Renovations Done!
Our interior and exterior renovations are complete!  The recent renovations represent the progressive nature of our Euopean-style market.
Learning from a Master Butcher
David Venable, host of QVC's "In the Kitchen with David" recently stopped by Country Butcher and photographed Master Butcher Dan Boxler and the store for his newly released cook book. David later returned to Country Butcher to film Dan giving tips for grilling and cooking fine meats.
